John Kachnowski

JK is back with another unique blend of alternative rock.
The CD "Foxdart" is his second full solo release put out by Quarter Mile Music.

FOXDART includes guest performances from Grammy/Platinum selling guitarist Chris Pinnick (Chicago, Herb Alpert), composer Allan Brown on keys, bassist Dan Jones(Ragbirds), Anthony 'ISpeakSax' Cook just to name a few!

John Kachnowski's signature upbeat sound originates from Detroit....but draws a fanbase worldwide.   Whimsical lyrical what-not slathered in a bath of Real Horns.

"GREAT writer of words...I love John's writing style...best part about it is the musicianship is really great." Jason Scheff Lead Vox/Bass, the legendary band Chicago

John...a monster player/arranger/writer and always a gracious guy"   Dawayne Bailey-guitarist for Bob Seger & Chicago

"when you hear trombonist John Kachnowski cut loose on a rocking solo or a mellower full-bodied melodic phrase you’ll quickly experience the tremendous range and remarkable depth of this titan of the brass section.”
Eric Harabadian, Detroit Live Magazine

JK's gigs & recordings include: The Exceptions, The Articles, Gangster Fun, Tickweasel, Some People's Children, Fifth Quarter Kings, National Ghost, Vic Dumonte's Grata Non Persona, the Dirty Mitten Funk Band. Twenty seven seasons and going with the Livonia Symphony Orchestra...a slot he has held since age 18.
