“Rhett May”

Australian song smith Rhett May has returned with a smoking hot rock track ‘Kiss Your Mama With That Mouth’.

A singer-songwriter of immense talent.

RAW…and with beautifully placed guitar riffs, amazing vocals and stellar song writing…Rhett’s music has a very different flavour to the current cookie-cutter rock music…or anything else around today.

Largely influenced by the classic song-writing of John Lennon, the Beatles, Pink Floyd and the Rolling Stones, Rhett May is a rock singer who has moulded his own unique sound over several decades in the industry.

With a musical career that spans back to the seventies when his band Lucifer supported legendary rock band Queen, and even catching the interest of George Harrison and The Beatles label, Apple Records.

Rhett May is a voice of experience in a rock world which has become increasingly shallow. He has toured the world, seen the music industry from the inside and watched the dark side of the business consume those around him. Throughout those experiences Rhett May continually turned away the excesses of the industry, choosing instead to write his own story as opposed to those who fell into the clutches of addiction.

Having spent a large part of his childhood in Calcutta, India, his guitar led songs are infused with the sounds of the Indian streets. By blending classic sensibilities with a twist of Indian culture he has created a string of singles off his last couple of albums ‘Creatures of the Night’ and ‘Fast Cars and Sitars’

A definitive movement away from his initial offerings, ‘Kiss Your Mama With That Mouth’ is a beautifully constructed release perfect for the commercial market.

As one scribe gushed….”Very Haight Ashbury…’Kiss Your Mama With That Mouth’ pushes the boundaries with a sexy, sensual groove and catchy lyrics that go round and round inside your head”.

Kitty Solaris

Artist: Kitty Solaris
Title: Money Back
Genre(s): Euro Dance
Release: July 28th 2019

"Money Back" is the name of the remix of the title "I only want my Money Back" released earlier this year by Kitty Solaris album "Cold City".

It's about money. Money machines, fast sleds, the dream of luxury and warning against tricksters. Prefer not to believe everything that is promised, and in case of doubt prefer to trust your own maxim. Produced by the Australian producer Damian Press, the Euro-Dance sound winked towards Ibiza.
"Money Back"

Kitty Solaris is cool and direct, soft, sincere, underground and disco. And yes, all of it. She knows the best roads in the city and through its people. She started writing songs in her kitchen leading to no less than six albums – the latest "Cold City" released in 2019 – Cold City.

The single of the same name, released in February this year and co-produced by her drummer Steffen Schlosser, is about her love-hate relationship with Berlin, frustrations because of its changing nature and its growing mainstream character. Kitty Solaris follows her heroes – Velvet Underground, Cat Power, and Patti Smith – but in a way that is all her own, combining various styles and both analog and electronic sounds.

Her music rings out to disco beats of the ’70s, keys from the ’80s, and rock vibrations from the ’90s. Which means that the music has its very own kind of singer-songwriter style to it. Kitty Solaris’s voice is soft but with a strong core that leads listeners straight to her verbal everyday pictures. She’s offering a universe to move to and move through with existential themes and feelings we can all relate to.

Kitty Solaris releases her music on her own do-it-yourself-label founded in 2007, Solaris Empire, and is because of that not only a very active musician but also the boss of a cool cult label. When she released the album My Home Is My Disco in 2009, Gordon Raphael, producer of The Strokes, supported her on several recordings. Her music reaches out far beyond the borders of Germany and she’s been on tour through Europe several times.

"Solaris sounds almost like a grunge Lana Del Rey; it’s dark and moody, it’s rock ‘n’ roll, and it’s absolutely sublime" Bornmusiconline "Cold City, a track that could have been recorded in the 1970’s New York underground scene." Global Texan Chronicles
